“Jaffna Healthy City” Programme Introductory Meeting

The Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health , Jaffna Municipal Council and Community & family Medicine department of the Jaffna university medical faculty  is organizing activities related to maintaining health conditions of schools offices and business centres in Jaffna under the “Jaffna Healthy City”  programme. That programme has been implementing under  the support of the World Health Organization (WHO).

A related introductory meeting was held to the selected school’s principal of the Jaffna City at the conference hall of the Ministry of education on 18th September 2020 .

The meeting was chaired by Mr. L. Ilaangovan, Secretary of Education, Northern Province, Dr.R.Surenthirakumaran- Community and family Medicine Department of Jaffna University, Programme Coordinator- Department of Education, school principals  and other relevant officers were participated.
