Inaugural event of the Road Safety Week (07-11 October, 2019)
A pledge taking event on the theme of ‘We are also responsible for the safety of Northern Province’ will be held with the inaugural event of the Road Safety Week (07-11 October) at the Ministry of Education, Cultural Affairs, Sports & Youth Affairs on 7th October, 2019.
National flag and provincial flag have been hosted by the Mr.L.Ilaangovan, Secretary of Education and Mrs.A.Santhaseelan, Senior Assistant Secretary of Education respectively. Staff from Ministry of Education were singing the National Anthem.
After hosting the flags, Administrative Officer of the Ministry of Education has read aloud the pledge for road safety week.
Finally the Secretary delivered a brief speech on the necessity of road safety.
